In our department, our students learn the basic principles of electronics, assembly, maintenance and repair of electronic equipment, using measuring instruments, up-to-date software programs prepared for computers and industry, drawing and reading electronic circuit diagrams with computers, how industrial machines are controlled electronically with computers, maintenance and repair when necessary. They learn how to make a project, prepare a project with a technical report, and ensure the work safety of the workplace and personnel during operation.
Our students have the opportunity to reinforce their theoretical knowledge with practice by performing various applications with power electronics, electrical installations, sensors, digital and analog electronic systems, PIC and PLC in the electronics laboratory of our department. In addition, they learn to design circuits, perform circuit simulations and use office software by using various electronic programs in our computer laboratory within our school.
Our department graduates are in electrical-electronic maintenance and repair services; in facilities producing electrical-electronic circuits and circuit equipment; elevator, escalator, conveyor belt etc. in companies that manufacture and install systems; they can find job opportunities in many areas of the automotive, aircraft, communication and defense industries, in the control and command departments. In addition, students who have completed their associate degree education in our department can continue their undergraduate education in many determined areas by succeeding in the vertical transfer exam (DGS) if they wish.
