International Student Symposium in Akşehir

“Selçuk University International Technology and Innovation Student Symposium (SUTİS-) organized by Selçuk University Akşehir Faculty of Engineering and Architecture and Technology Faculty and opened in Konya with the participation of Selçuk University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tuğrul POLAT and Secretary General Prof. Dr. Kamil BEŞOLUK. 2022)” last day presentations and closing were held in Akşehir.

40 different presentations, each more valuable than the other, in the fields of Engineering and Technology, which were held simultaneously in 5 different halls in the Akşehir Faculty of Engineering and Architecture building, were followed with great interest. During the coffee breaks, scientific presentations were evaluated and questions and answers were exchanged. Certificates were given to each participant who made the presentation. After the morning sessions of the symposium, sausage and bread were served to all participants in the Faculty garden.

The closing speech of the symposium was made by the Dean of our Faculty Prof. Dr. Süleyman NEŞELİ. He also thanked all the students and academicians who made their presentations in his speech, and especially to the Chairmen of the Symposium Organizing Committee Prof Dr Şakir TAŞDEMİR and Dr. Hakan TERZİOĞLU. He expressed that he is happy that Akşehir and our Faculty have completed another work to make them stand out with scientific and social activities. He stated that the presentations of our undergraduate students, in which they exhibited their very valuable works that have achieved significant achievements in the field of technology, honored us on behalf of the future of our country, and stated that they will continue to strive to provide all the necessary opportunities for our students to show their potential at the highest level. It has been decided that the work on holding the second symposium for 2023 has started and that this organization will be continued as a traditional scientific activity. Our Dean also expressed his thanks to the Akşehir Mayor, Dr. Salih AKKAYA, who contributed to the realization of the symposium, and to the Akşehir Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Aksantaş, Aslımlar Market, Kadem and Çıtır Simit officials for their contributions and sponsorships.

After the closing speech, plaques were presented to the participants who made presentations, the Academic Staff of our Faculty who chaired the Session, and those who contributed to the Symposium.
