The Department of Atatürk's Principles and History of Turkish Revolution operates to coordinate the courses and exams taught in the Faculties, Vocational Schools, Colleges and Conservatory of our University.

MISSION

To examine the Republic of Turkey in the historical process that has reached the present day from the Ottoman Empire by considering a holistic understanding of history, interdisciplinary and scientific methods. To examine Turkish history based on scientific sources.

To understand and explain Atatürk's ideas and thoughts in the struggle for independence of the Turkish nation, the founding philosophy of the Republic of Turkey, the recent history of Turkey and the world in the context of changing and developing international relations.

To raise historical awareness by conveying the basic values of Turkish history to the youth and to convey historical information by reconciling them with the strategic importance of today's Turkey.

VISION

To research Turkish history from the Ottoman Empire to the Republic of Turkey in all its aspects and on a scientific basis, and to share it with students.
