Dining Halls

The Nutrition Services Branch Directorate of Selçuk University Health, Culture and Sports Department produces meals in 4 kitchens with its own facilities and personnel and provides meal service in 22 dining halls. The meals produced in the Central Dining Hall located in Alaeddin Keykubat Campus are transported to Kutalmışoğlu Süleyman Şah Social Facilities. Lunch and dinner services are provided at Kutalmışoğlu Süleyman Şah Social Facilities Dining Hall and Central Dining Hall. In our district dining halls, lunch is served with ready-to-serve meals in 17 district faculty and school dining halls, while 3 district faculties and schools prepare their own meals in their kitchens using ingredients from the Central Dining Hall.

As a unit, we prioritize adequate, hygienic, and balanced nutrition in our meal service. In this direction, our meal menus are carefully prepared monthly by the Meal Preparation Commission, taking into account our students' satisfaction, nutritional elements, caloric values, and energy needs; raw materials and ingredients required for meal preparation are procured according to these determined menus. The materials used are first class and are meticulously selected by the inspection commission.

An average of 10,000 people benefit from the meal service daily at our University. By the Board of Directors' decision, meal scholarships are provided to 1,500 students in need. Meal Scholarship applications are announced on our University's website at the beginning of each academic year. Applications are made to the student affairs office of the academic units where students study, and meal rights of scholarship-winning students are automatically defined in the automation system.

The Meal Menu Preparation Commission prepares monthly 4-course lunch menus for academic and administrative staff, and lunch and dinner menus for students. Monthly meal menus are announced on our University's website each month. Our staff and students can make their meal reservations online through the dining hall automation system on our University's website.
