Selçuk University Prof. Dr. Erol Güngör Library serves as one of Turkey's most well-equipped libraries with its mission of providing access to information and supporting academic studies. The central library containing 193,776 printed books and a total of 249,622 printed resources in unit libraries offer a wide range of information to students, academics, and researchers. Housing 67 different platforms for accessing electronic information resources, the library stands out as a modern information center with 18,946 electronic theses specific to Selçuk University and 4,080 audiovisual materials.

The central library, providing 24/7 service, offers an uninterrupted study environment to its users with a seating capacity of 850. Additionally, it allows users to spend time efficiently with the Kutalmışoğlu Süleyman Shah Reading Hall with a capacity of 216 people, 6 individual study halls suitable for different needs, 3 group study rooms, a computer laboratory, and a seminar hall. The library successfully continues its mission of preserving and transferring a rich cultural heritage to future generations with 12,365 manuscripts and old printed works, 11,787 CDs of these digitized works, 20,152 master's and doctoral theses, 3,061 periodicals, and a newspaper archive of 4,750 volumes.

The library not only provides resources but also stands out with its modern infrastructure and user-friendly design. It aims to meet all needs of users with 3 archive areas spanning 1200 square meters and social areas such as an 80-square-meter canteen and buffet. Having hosted 745,856 visitors and loaned 822,276 books since 2000, the library has become an indispensable information center for students and academics with its extensive and diverse information resources.
