The application process for the YÖK Outstanding Achievement Awards for 2021 has started. In the past years, there has been great interest in the unique awards and the awards were presented by our President at the Külliye. YÖK Outstanding Achievement Awards are given in two categories: Individual and Institutional. Under the heading of individual awards, the Doctoral Dissertation of the Year Award is given in three different fields, namely Science and Engineering Sciences, Health Sciences and Social Sciences and Humanities, and the doctoral candidate and his/her advisor can be nominated and awarded together. The New Council of Higher Education (YÖK), which has recently attached special importance to doctoral studies, aims to draw attention to the importance of the joint success of faculty and students with this award. Under the heading of Institutional Awards, awards are given in four different categories: Community Service Award, International Cooperation Award, University-Industry Cooperation Award and Contribution to Local Development Award.
