The "Postgraduate Advisory Training" held on May 5, 2026, within the Institute of Health Sciences, concluded with top honors.
The opening speech and the training content titled "Academic Advisory: Roles, Responsibilities, Ethical Approaches, and Communication Dynamics" were given by the Institute Director, Prof. Dr. F. Hümeyra YERLİKAYA AYDEMİR. Following this, the Institute Deputy Director, Prof. Dr. Esma MENEVŞE, addressed the topic of "Best Practices and Gains in Doctoral Education," and Associate Professor Dr. Murat KÖKLÜ from our University's Faculty of Technology gave a presentation on "Artificial Intelligence in Academia."
After the lectures given by the instructors, the modules included group work on the Role and Responsibilities of the Advisor, Advisor-Student Interviews and Communication, Ethical Approaches, and Conflicts of Interest, culminating in case studies and problem-solving exercises in groups. Our representative members in the groups actively contribute to the process.
The full day of training, which was quite productive, concluded with ongoing discussions and topics.
