The "Graduate Counseling Training," held on September 17, 2025, within the Institute of Health Sciences, was successfully completed.
The opening speech and the training content, titled "Academic Counseling: Roles, Responsibilities, Ethical Approaches, and Communication Dynamics," were presented by Institute Director Prof. Dr. F. Hümeyra YERLİKAYA AYDEMİR. Subsequently, Deputy Director Prof. Dr. Esma MENEVŞE provided training on "Best Practices and Gains in Doctoral Education," our University's Deputy Quality Coordinator Prof. Dr. Enes GÖK provided training on "Revisions Made within the Scope of Quality Assurance at Our University," and our University's Faculty of Technology faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat KÖKLÜ provided training on "Artificial Intelligence in Academia."
Following the lectures given by the instructors, the modules included: Group discussions focused on the Role and Responsibilities of the Advisor, Advisor-Student Interviews and Communication, Ethical Approaches, and Conflicts of Interest. Case studies and case studies were conducted in the groups, culminating in group discussions. Our advisor faculty members actively contributed to the process. The highly productive day concluded with closing remarks and well wishes.
