The workshop titled "Orpheus Virtual Workshop on PhD Supervision in Biomedicine and Health Sciences" will be held online at 13:00 at 12:00 on Friday, March 08, 2024.

Our workshop started with the opening speech of our Rector Prof. Dr. Metin AKSOY and the Institute Director Prof. Dr. It continues with Fatma Hümeyra YERLİKAYA AYDEMİR's introductory presentation of the Institute. Our Institute Orpheus Commission Member and Institute Board Member Prof.Dr. Under the moderation of Esma MENEVŞE, lectures containing important information about doctoral education contents were given by Prof. Dr. Michale Mulvany, Prof. Dr. Gül Güner AKDOĞAN, Prof. Dr. Janet CARTON and Prof. Dr. Joanna Almeida PALHA. Speeches were made about what counseling training should be like from ORPHEUS's perspective.

After the lessons given by the instructors, in the modules; At the end of comprehensive group studies on Roles and Expectations, Communication Between Student Supervisors, and Encouraging Responsible Behavior in Research, case studies and case solutions were made in the groups. Our representative faculty members are in the groups and make active contributions throughout their continuity.

Our work, which was very productive, lasted approximately 8 hours and ended with continued speeches and wishes at 18:30.
