Announcement on Amnesty Law No. 7417

Students of our institute who were dismissed before July 5, 2022 who want to benefit from Article 35 of Law No. 7417 and Temporary Article 83 (student amnesty) added to Law No. 2547, which entered into force by being published in the Official Gazette dated July 5, 2022 and numbered 31887, within 4 months as of 05.07.2022 (until November 07, 2022) , if they apply to our Institute with the following application form and the required documents and meet the conditions specified in the law, they will be able to start their education in the 2022-2023 academic year depending on the application principles published by the Higher Education Council.

The following persons who have been dismissed from the amnesty law for whatever reason will not be able to benefit.
a-) Those convicted of the crime of terrorism and the crimes of intentional killing (articles 81, 82 and 83), the crime of torture (articles 94 and 95), the crime of torture (article 96), sexual assault (article 102), sexual abuse of children (article 103), the crime of manufacturing and trafficking in drugs or stimulants (article 188);

b-) Those whose registration is cancelled due to forged documents, those who issue false documents during registration, those who are offenses written in Article 71 of the Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works dated 5/12/1951 and numbered 5846, those who are dismissed due to their membership, membership or affiliation with terrorist organizations or structures, formations or groups determined by the National Security Council to be active against the national security of the State.

Applications will be made in person, by Mail or Cargo, and the information that the applications made by cargo or mail will be given to the e-mail address specified in the application petition after reaching the Institute. Applications to be made by mail or cargo will not be taken into account if there are missing documents or if they reach the Institute after November 7, 2022.

REMARKS:
-Those who are performing military service on 05.07.2022 will be able to benefit from the rights specified in this article if they apply to our Institute with the necessary documents within 2 months following their discharge. These candidates must also document that they are performing military service on the date of publication of the law.

-Those who have been dismissed from more than one program/higher education institution before the date of publication of the said law can only apply for amnesty to one program/higher education institution.

-The maximum period of the students registered within the scope of the amnesty starts from the date of registration.

-Deducting the previous periods of the students enrolled under the amnesty before the dismissal,

contribution debits will be made.

-Students who register within the scope of the amnesty are required to make their semester registrations from student automation on the dates specified in the academic calendar.
