As Selçuk University Faculty of Tourism, we took an important step for the future of the tourism sector by organizing the Academy and Sector Meeting Workshop on April 24, 2024. This comprehensive event brought together leading figures in the sector, academics, and students, providing a platform for discussing current developments in the tourism sector and exploring solutions.

The event addressed the problems facing the sector and proposed solutions. The meeting, where different perspectives were presented and ideas were exchanged extensively, contributed to the creation of a shared vision for the future of the tourism sector. Our Dean, Prof. Dr. Onur Köksal, stated: "We believe we have taken an important step for the future of the tourism sector. Thanks to this meeting, different stakeholders in the sector had the opportunity to come together, exchange ideas, and collaborate. The feedback we received from the participants was very positive and shows that we will continue to organize such events. We will continue to contribute to the tourism sector and its development."

As Selçuk University Faculty of Tourism, we will continue to organize such events and contribute to the tourism sector, conscious of our responsibility to the sector.
