Our visually impaired users can benefit from the ‘Konuşan Kitaplık’ service offered by the National Library. In order for our disabled users to have easier access to The ‘Konuşan Kitaplık’ collection, necessary permissions have been obtained from the Presidency of the National Library to publish the link of relevant page on our website.

Terms Of Use:
- The books in the collection are protected under the Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works, and there are various copyrights on these books, especially the rights of the author and the speaker.
- Visually impaired users must be members in order to benefit from the service individually.
- https://konusankitaplik.mkutup.gov.tr/Anasayfa/UyeOl after filling out the membership form, at least 640 visually impaired health board reports or disabled identify cards, the scanned version should be uploaded to the site from the page containing the form or sent to the e-mail address konusankitaplik@mkutup.gov.tr.
- They should apply to the Disabled Unit of the Health, Culture and Sports Department of our University for help and support during the scanning and uploading of the requested documents.
- Together with the User’s TR Identify Numbers and password these books are specially prepared for the visually impaired. You can find the books in the catalog by using the advance search options on the designed web page. They can download audiobooks to their computers or listen to audiobooks online.
ABOUT
In the Talking Library Center for the Visually Impaired, which operates under the Non-Book Materials Branch of the Presidency of the National Library, books are available at the request of the visually impaired members through volunteer readers. The Service which started with Braille books in 1995, has now been created in 11 professional formats continues in the sound recording studio.
On the Konuşan Kitaplık home page, users can access up-to-date information on recently added audiobooks, most listened audiobooks, most listened audiobooks in the last month, currently played books and recently added text books.
Volunteer readers at the Konuşan Kitaplık Center for the Visually Impaired work between 09.00 – 17.00 on weekdays. They record books in recording studios created in this format. Those who want to be volunteer readers can learn more information about recording process by either through phone numbers 0312 470 83 , 22/25/26??
