A tree planting event was held in Güneysınır for the Honey Forest
In an event organized by the Güneysınır Forestry Directorate, approximately 250 saplings were planted in a honey forest area with the participation of students from Güneysınır Vocational School.
Participants spent a day immersed in nature and planted new trees that will contribute to beekeeping activities in the region, in an event aimed at developing nature awareness and environmental sensitivity in young generations. Officials from the Güneysınır Forestry Directorate stated that such events are of great importance in terms of nature conservation, erosion prevention, and supporting beekeeping, a significant resource for the local economy.
It was stated that the planted saplings will contribute to honey production in the region in the coming years, as well as being beneficial for wildlife conservation and maintaining climate balance. The event was considered a promising initiative for the future, both instilling environmental awareness in students and strengthening their connection with nature.
