US delegation admired Selçuk University
Prof. Dr. Robin E. Bowen, Rector of Arkansas Tech University and the accompanying delegation visited Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy. A letter of intent was signed between the two universities for the development of cooperation.

Prof. Dr. Mevlüt Aydoğmuş, Secretary General of the International Association of Agricultural Cities Dr. Mücahit Sami Küçüktığlı visited Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy.
Stating that Selçuk University is a university that combines theory and practice and that it attaches great importance to this issue, Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy said that each student at the Faculty of Agriculture is allocated an area of 100 square meters and that students have the opportunity to apply what they have learned. Stating that Selçuk University is the first university established in the region, Prof. Dr. Aksoy said, "The services within the university are provided directly by our own staff. We do not outsource services. The food cooked in the dining hall, products such as sausage, milk and bread are produced at our university."
Prof. Dr. Robin E. Bowen, Rector of Arkansas Tech University, stated that he was very impressed by Selçuk University and that they are planning to cooperate with Selçuk University, which has many facilities and opportunities, and that they are eager for their students to participate in the exchange program at Selçuk University.
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim stated that Arkansas Tech University aims to educate students who are citizens of the world and that American students will gain a serious international experience in a year they will spend in Türkiye.
The letter of intent was signed between Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy, Rector of Selçuk University and Prof. Dr. Robin E. Bowen, Rector of Arkansas Tech University. With the letter of intent signed by the two universities, a preliminary step was taken for a comprehensive agreement that will enable cooperation between the universities in the fields of education and research activities, student and academic staff exchange and project cooperation in the future.
Prof. Dr. Bowen and the accompanying delegation, together with Selçuk University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Emrullah Eken, visited Alaeddin Keykubat Campus and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Small Animal Hospital and received information about the studies carried out.
