“YOU WILL CONTINUE TO BE OUR PRIDE”

Deputy Dean Assoc. Dr. Hakan Kuyumcu said: “I believe that our students who study and graduate from our faculty will continue to be our source of pride in their future lives. No matter what subject or job you are doing, remember that the most valuable thing is to lead a moral life. The knowledge acquired in these lands where Mevlana left indelible traces requires making hearts, choosing love, tolerance and, above all, knowing oneself as principles.

“THERE IS NO SUCCESS WITHOUT SWEAT.”

Head of Department of Arabic Language and Literature, Faculty of Letters, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kazım Ürün also said, “You are starting a new era. Keep reading and learning in your next life. You will be in touch with society. You will teach or work in another field. There is no success without sweat. Do your job in the best way possible. We have many beautiful words and riches in our culture to guide us. One of these is 'He who loves his country the most is the one who does his job best.' Always keep your knowledge fresh. Have as much experience abroad as you can. Your priority should be to adapt and demonstrate moral virtue. "Be individuals who are open to dialogue, not those who investigate people's flaws, and protect national and spiritual values for our country." Following the speeches of Mahmut Kafes, Deputy Head of the Department of Arabic Language and Literature Prof. Dr., and the top student of the term, Kübra Özel; Tuğba Koç and Sevgi Yorulmaz read the poem "I Don't Know" by İliyyâ Ebû Mâdî. The ceremony ended with the graduating students singing the songs they adapted for the academics and the cap throwing ceremony.
