Ardahan University (ARU) Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Biber visited Selçuk University (SU) Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy in his office. During the visit, the importance of collaborations that will ensure the development of universities within the scope of the Higher Education Council Anatolia Project was emphasized.

In his speech, Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy said that as a university, they attach great importance to the HEC Anatolia Project. Reminding that they were paired with Ardahan University and Bitlis Eren University within the scope of the project, Prof. Dr. Aksoy said, "We are happy for this pairing in the sense of 'we will share our experiences'. These processes are never one-sided in academia. The environment where the universities are located, the experience brought by the geography, we and our lecturers have experiences to gain from young universities. They have different perspectives to gain from different perspectives. We see this as the starting point of mutual cooperation, not unilaterally by Selçuk University, and we attach importance to it. We have continued our visits in this context. We want our researchers and lecturers to continue their work by increasing cooperation. I wish it to be an example for young academics. We want our students to take part in different projects and studies within the scope of the projects we will develop over time. On this occasion, I hope that 'if we join forces, we will carry our universities to better places'."

Ardahan University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Biber said that developed universities play an important role in their regions. Prof. Dr. Biber stated that Selçuk University also played an important role in the development of Konya and its surrounding universities and said, "Ardahan University is among the young universities. We matched with Selçuk University within the scope of the Higher Education Council of Turkey Anatolia Project under the auspices of our President. We have been conducting the HEC Anatolia Project for a year. Now we are starting the new semester. We tell our students to appreciate this support and make good use of this opportunity. After the distance education process, we are now starting face-to-face education. With your contribution and support, I hope we will continue by increasing the number of programs and lecturers from Selçuk University. If we are lucky, this experience will reflect more on our students. This also creates an excitement. Because our students experience the pride and difference of taking courses from experienced lecturers from different universities. In this sense, the YÖK Anatolia Project is very important. I hope we will always continue this. As the administration, we are grateful for your support and lecturers on your behalf."
