Halis Yunus Ersöz, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports visited Rector of Selcuk University Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy. Ersöz thanked Selcuk University for hosting the Konya 2021 5th Islamic Solidarity Games.

Selcuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy, in his speech, stated that they are pleased to host Konya 2021 5th Islamic Solidarity Games as the University and thanked the institutions and organizations that contributed to the organization. Prof. Dr. Aksoy stated that the games are an indication that comprehensive organizations can be organized in Konya.

Halis Yunus Ersöz, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, also thanked Selçuk University for its partnership with the games, noting that Konya and Turkey hosted a good organization. Ersöz said “We have achieved a good level for the Islamic world together. In this sense, our stakeholders made a significant contribution. A good result came out for the country and it, in a way, leveled us up. With its opening, closing, success, participation and organizational ability, our stakeholders, colleagues and coordinators in Konya made a significant contribution.” he said.

Veli Ozan Çakır, Deputy General Manager of Sports Services, and Abdurrahman Şahin, Konya Provincial Director of Youth and Sports, accompanied the visit where gifts were presented.
