Turkish Central Laboratories Network (TCL-Network) protocol was signed between Selçuk University and Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University. The protocol will provide great convenience to academicians in scientific studies and to the private sector in production.

Private sector and public institutions can also benefit from the Turkish Central Laboratories Network (TCL-Network) established by Selçuk University Advanced Technology Research and Application Center. Within the scope of the protocol, universities in the Turkish Central Laboratories Network will cooperate on the identification and analysis of samples coming from academic units and industry. In addition, universities will cover the mutual training of researchers and experts within the consortium. The Turkish Central Laboratories Network (TCL-Network) protocol was signed by Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy and Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University Rector Prof. Dr. Namık Ak scored. Prof. Dr. Namık Ak said, “Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University was born from Selçuk University. It is very important that this city is also a pioneer in scientific studies. “I hope the protocol will be beneficial.” said.

Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy stated that if the unity of power is not established, the functioning of the institutions will not be sustainable. Prof. Dr. Aksoy said, “We have a strong Advanced Technology Research and Application Center within Selçuk University. It has an infrastructure worth approximately 10 million dollars. We want to share the opportunities here with our other stakeholders and use them for the interests of our country. We believe that important research will be revealed in this way. We strive to improve our country and provide better services to our youth. “We strive to provide research opportunities under very good conditions to our scientists and to contribute to their work.” said.

Advanced Technology Research and Application Center Director Assoc. Dr. Serdar Karakurt said, “Our center has an advanced laboratory network system that supports analysis and research both in Konya and the surrounding provinces. We opened the devices within İLTEK to the private sector and the public. We carry out a lot of work together with the industry. We wanted to form a collaboration under the name of central laboratories consortium. Professors at many universities applied to join this network system. "From now on, our teachers or industrial producers will no longer be told that 'analysis is not being done', and their job will become easier." he said.
