A talk titled "Ministerial Career Opportunities" was organized by Selçuk University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Diplomacy Academy. Ambassador Meltem Büyükkarakaş, who participated as a speaker, gave information about the job opportunities offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Sharing her professional experiences and providing information about the organizational structure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the career opportunities it offers, Ambassador Meltem Büyükkarakaş said, "Among the aims of our foreign policy are to secure our international interests abroad, to contribute to peace, stability and prosperity both in our region and at the global level, and to take an active role in the management of crises." there is. Consular and specialized officers assigned to administrative matters can also advance to the consulate general. Those who want to take the career civil servant, consular and specialized officer exams must have knowledge of a foreign language, follow Turkey's foreign policy and current issues, be able to think analytically, pay attention to attire, and pay attention to general culture and diction.
