In his speech at the opening of the conference, Dean of the Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Ümit Süleyman Üstün stated that as a faculty, they strive to raise their students in the best way and that he believes that the SU Law Faculty Conferences Series will provide important gains to the students.

"SU LAW FACULTY IS A WELL-ESTABLISHED AND RESPECTED FACULTY"

Selçuk University Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Emrullah Eken stated that the Faculty of Law of Selçuk University is a well-established and reputable faculty. Emphasizing that the conference will make a significant contribution to law students, Prof. Dr. Eken reminded that prospective judges and prosecutors can benefit from the cooperation protocol signed between Selçuk University and Konya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for education.

Konya Chief Public Prosecutor Ramazan Solmaz stated that SU Law Faculty is valuable for them. Sharing the anecdotes he experienced during his education process with the students, Solmaz said, "In terms of your career, you can consider Chinese, Russian, Spanish, Arabic besides English. If you are thinking of becoming a judge, prosecutor and lawyer from the 2nd grade, we would like you to benefit from the experiences of our friends and get to know the courthouse. You should start planning your career, especially what you are choosing, what you want to choose. You are the people who can make the best decision. If you have any experience in this regard, we are always ready."

"YOU MUST HAVE AN IDEAL IN THE SENSE OF NOT LEAVING THE SENSE OF JUSTICE"

Stating that he had the opportunity to see many places in Turkey due to his profession, Solmaz said, "Konya is my 11th duty station. You get to know the people and the region. You make friends. These come across as an accumulated experience in the future. I have been doing this job for years, I have seen many advantages of the profession. The profession develops certain things in you. You make decisions on behalf of the Turkish nation, the decision you make must satisfy people in terms of law. Therefore, judges, prosecutors, lawyers and those under the roof of this profession have a very high responsibility in this sense. You should have an ideal in the sense that you should never deviate from the sense of justice and never leave the sense of justice. In this sense, I see that light in the eyes of all of you."

Solmaz, who also gave information about the judge and prosecutor exams, answered the questions of the students in the last part of the conference.
