Selcuk University (SU) Faculty of Architecture and Design, Department of Interior Architecture 3rd year students dubbed 13 books in the fields of interior architecture, design, architecture and art for visually impaired individuals within the scope of the Volunteering Studies Course.

The books, which were dubbed in cooperation with SU Disabled Student Unit Coordinatorship and Barrier-Free Information Center, started to be made available to visually impaired individuals.

Project Advisor, Department of Interior Architecture Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Kübra Müezzinoğlu said that 13 students contributed to the audio library with the project they prepared within the scope of the course. Stating that 13 books from the fields of interior architecture, design, architecture and art were voiced within this framework, Müezzinoğlu said, "It was a priority for us that the books we chose were not voiced by others. We aim for the continuity of our project work, which we realized by taking legal norms into consideration, in the future. We are very happy to be able to make a contribution to our individuals with special needs in this sense. We plan to continue our project every year. We started with 13 books and we aim to grow by increasing this number in the coming years. We wish to contribute to our university, our city and our country together."

Alperen Uçar, a 3rd year student in the Department of Interior Architecture, stated that he voiced Cengiz Bektaş's book Turkish House within the scope of the project. Explaining that the study provided important gains for themselves and disabled individuals, Uçar said, "We had the opportunity to both learn and empathize. It was very good for us. We would like to thank our professors and the Disabled Student Unit Coordinatorship of our University for providing such an opportunity."

Aleyna Daver, a 3rd year student of the Department of Interior Architecture, stated that within the framework of the study, she dubbed Prof. Dr. Oktay Aslanapa's book Mimar Sinan and noted that they aimed to facilitate the lives of visually impaired individuals within the scope of Volunteering Studies.
