The 5th International Conference on Engineering Technologies ICENTE'21 is being hosted online by Selçuk University Faculty of Technology.

      Rector of Selçuk University Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy made the opening speech of ICENTE'21 Conference online. Prof. Dr. Şakir Taşdemir, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Conference, said, "The fifth International Conference on Engineering Technologies is being hosted by Selçuk University Faculty of Technology in Konya, the capital of culture and tolerance. Our conference is a multidisciplinary conference that brings together different branches of engineering. As a result of the referee evaluations of 267 papers from 13 different countries in 7 different fields of science, including biomedical, computer, electrical & electronics, mechanical, mechatronics, metallurgical & materials and civil engineering, 205 of them were registered to be presented at the conference. 138 local and foreign universities, institutions and organizations participated in the conference and the papers will be presented in online sessions."

      The invited speaker session of the conference moderated by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Acarer was organized by Dr. Inż. Łukasz Knypınskı from Poland-Poznan University of Technology, started with his English presentation titled "Metaheuristic Algorithms Applied In Permanent Magnet Motors Optimal Design". In the second presentation, Dr. Kamer Kaya from Sabancı University presented "High-Performance Computing on Graphs" and in the third presentation Prof. Iván Enrique Campos Silva from National Polytechnic Institute University presented "Pulsed-DC Powder-Pack Boriding Process".
