Training was provided to private security officers working at universities in Konya by the Konya Provincial Police Department, hosted by Selcuk University.

The training, organized at Selcuk University Sultan Alparslan Cultural Center, covered topics including private security law, relations with general law enforcement and KAAN application, security awareness, effective communication and anger management, crowd psychology, principles of responding to social events, drug information, and counter-terrorism related subjects.

The training, conducted within the scope of the 2024 – 2025 Academic Year 2nd Semester, was attended by Selcuk University Deputy Secretary General Semrah Engez, Protection and Security Manager Muharrem Pekmezci; and private security officers working at Selcuk University, Necmettin Erbakan University, Konya Technical University, KTO Karatay University, and Konya Food and Agriculture University.

Commissioner Ahmet Demirel from the Private Security Branch Directorate gave a presentation on "Private Security Law and General Law Enforcement – Private Security Relations, KAAN Application and Effective Communication", while Commissioner Mustafa Aksu from the Counter-Terrorism Branch Directorate presented on "Counter-Terrorism".

Psychologist Omer Faruk Ozturk from the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Office presented on "Public Relations and Communication", Commissioner Mustafa Sabit Hayirlioglu from the Riot Police Branch Directorate on "Principles of Responding to Social Events", Police Officer Mehmet Yalcin from the Narcotics Crime Branch Directorate on "Drug Information", and Deputy Commissioner Sedat Kandur from the Security Branch Directorate on "Crowd Psychology, Anger Management and Stress Management".
