The 2021-2022 Academic Year Spring Term Academic Board Meeting of Selçuk University Faculty of Health Sciences was held with the participation of Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy.

The opening speech of the Faculty of Health Sciences 2021-2022 Academic Year Spring Term Academic Board Meeting held at Sultan Alparslan Cultural Center was made by Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Emine Arslan. Stating that in 1996, the Faculty of Health Sciences, which started education as a health college with two departments, midwifery and nursing, and turned into a faculty in 2010, currently has 8 active departments, Prof. Dr. Arslan said, "Since its establishment, our faculty has aimed to train competent health professionals and scientists and contributed to the development of national policies in the field of health. In the future, it will continue to have a say in the creation and development of national and international health policies. Our most important priority is to train qualified, constantly self-renewing healthcare professionals who are sensitive to the problems of the country with the awareness of social responsibility and who protect their state, nation and flag." 

"THE ESTABLISHMENT PHASE OF THE SIMULATION CENTER HAS BEEN INITIATED"

Stating that they continue to support the Faculty of Health Sciences, which serves the future of our country and makes serious contributions at this point, Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy said, "Our faculty is getting better every day. We have received a promise to provide a new building for the Faculty of Health Sciences. We strive for our students to receive education in better conditions and for our scientists to work in better environments. Great efforts were made to bring the simulation center, which is not available in other state universities and will cost 11 million TL, to the Faculty of Health Sciences and the establishment phase was started. This is a great success. The infrastructure of the Application, Education, Research and Consultation Center has been created."

"WE ARE WORKING FOR A BETTER QUALITY UPBRINGING OF FUTURE GENERATIONS"

Reminding that they provided 20 million TL support for scientific research projects in 2021, Prof. Dr. Aksoy said, "Scientific research is very important for the higher quality education of future generations and the progress of society. We have provided 3 million TL support for the digital transformation of the university. We have made various visits to ensure that our compatriots in our heartland find value and receive education here. We believe that the existence of a Selçuk University that meets its history and identity will carry the University to much stronger places in a short time. We cannot act independently from the culture of this society. We are acting to better educate the children of our nation." 

The 2021-2022 Academic Year Spring Term Academic Board Meeting of the Faculty of Health Sciences ended with the singing of the National Anthem by the kindergarten students of Nasreddin Hodja Application Kindergarten and a music concert.
