In a period when the consumption culture has become widespread with the pandemic, the importance of production has increased even more. We have taken steps to stand by the producers during the pandemic process and we continue to do so."

"WE ARE TRYING TO MAKE AN EXEMPLARY PRODUCTION FOR KONYA FARMERS"

Stating that Selçuk University has 2 thousand 860 decares of agricultural land, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture Prof. Dr. Zeki Bayramoğlu said, "We grow wheat, corn, barley and clover on these lands. As a university, we support the agricultural products that our country needs. We are trying to produce in every agricultural land within our structure. This year, the expected precipitation did not fall. There was a low yield due to the drought that occurred throughout Türkiye. The dry farming areas within our university were also affected by the drought. Despite this, we obtained a higher yield than expected. We are trying alternative products that require less water and to make production that will set an example for Konya farmers."
