Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy came together with student representatives of faculties, colleges, vocational schools and conservatories. Prof. Dr. Aksoy listened to their demands and said, "Our priority is to think about the future of our students."

Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy, who met with student representatives, was accompanied by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tuğrul Polat, Secretary General Prof. Dr. Kamil Beşoluk and Selçuk University Student Council President Alper Selçuk.

Reminding that Selçuk University was one of the first universities to decide on face-to-face education, Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy said, "We are among the first universities to be ranked among the top universities in preferences. Most of the scientific achievements have the signature of Selçuk University. Nearly 70 thousand students receive education at Alaeddin Keykubat Campus. We do our best to solve the problems of our students. We are working to implement a modern education curriculum and to ensure that our students have very good opportunities. You are studying at a well-established University; this is a privilege for you. Your friends who graduated before you have a say in the administration of our country and our city. We strive to emphasize our own culture and values. Our priority is to think about your future." 

"WE ARE ALWAYS WITH OUR STUDENTS"

Prof. Dr. Aksoy stated that they started to work on expanding library facilities and said, "We increased the number of reading rooms. I would like to thank the Metropolitan Municipality, Selçuklu Municipality, Meram Municipality and Karatay Municipality for their support in this regard. Important steps have been taken to strengthen the communication network and improve cafeteria services. We serve considering that our own children study on this campus. We endeavor to use public resources efficiently. The transportation of our students will be relieved by expanding the minibus route. We strive to improve the facilities of our faculties, colleges, vocational schools and conservatories. Selçuk University administration is always with the students. Our Huğlu Vocational School produces 24/7 for the defense industry with the projects we have implemented. It has reached a position to produce all parts of a rifle. It has shown that it is a college that can be a model."

Giving information about the spring activities, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tuğrul Polat said, "The spring activities will start on May 9 after the Ramadan Feast and will continue for 21 days. Many events are planned. We are acting together with student communities in this process. There will be award-winning competitions, talks on various topics, artistic and sports activities, concerts and performing arts, and open-air cinema." Secretary General Prof. Dr. Kamil Beşoluk said, "We see that the students who graduated from Selçuk University at the point of institutional belonging do not break their connections with the university. Making an effort to be with you is one of our important values."
