Selçuk University (SU) Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy met with the presidents and vice presidents of 135 student societies within the university.

Rector of Selçuk University Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy said at the meeting held at Sultan Alparslan Cultural Center that student societies contain diversity in terms of thoughts, departments and fields. Prof. Dr. Aksoy stated that he was also the president of a student society in the past and said, "I have been the academic advisor of various youth movements in civil society. Your efforts of course add richness and diversity to our university. The university makes sense with you and the programs you carry out. Cultural programs, events, trainings and invitations you plan to organize are the main elements that make the university a university."

Prof. Dr. Aksoy stated that they were among the first universities in Turkey to decide on face-to-face education and said, "We may encounter minor problems, but in general terms, we are trying to continue our education and training process in the 5th week without any problems. Our lecturers are very satisfied. There was positive feedback from our students and their families. We can observe how important the decision we have made is for the country and the nation. We want you to take the friendships, friendships, university culture and identity from your university years and then start your professional life. We have no time to lose. As a teacher, besides the sensitivity of being a teacher, on the other hand, as administrators who love the country, our goal is 'to raise you in the best way'."

Prof. Dr. Aksoy stated that Selçuk University ranked 1st, 2nd and 3rd in TEKNOFEST and added that such competitions play an important role in students' gaining competition culture, experience and self-confidence.

Following the speeches, Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tuğrul Polat, Secretary General Prof. Dr. Kamil Beşoluk, Coordinator of Student Communities Assoc. Prof. Dr. İslam Can, Head of Health, Culture and Sports Department Abdullah Özdemir, President of Selçuk University Student Council Alper Selçuk answered the questions of the students and listened to their opinions and demands.
