Selcuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy met with the students of the Faculty of Communication who achieved 8 degrees in the 32nd Young Communicators Competition organized in cooperation with the Aydın Doğan Foundation and the Turkish Journalists Association. Prof. Dr. Aksoy presented a certificate of appreciation to the students. Prof. Dr. Aksoy said, “Our Faculty of Communication has made such awards traditional since the past. Our faculty has not compromised on the educational bar and quality, even though periods have changed and time has passed.''

In his speech, Selcuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy said that university success becomes more valuable with the work of students. Prof. Dr. Aksoy stated that people who believe in their work and do not give up on the process can participate in the race. He said, “The successes achieved show the quality of the education provided to you by our professors, in the person of our Dean. I thank them very much. Our Faculty of Communication has made such awards traditional since the past. Our faculty has not compromised on the educational bar and quality even though periods have changed and time has passed. Your elders before you were receiving awards. You also continue the tradition. This perspective and talent will open the way for bigger doors. You will do important work in your field, you will become great artists; Maybe you will make your name known at the international level. We will be proud if you are successful. Congratulations. As the Selçuk University family, we are happy with your success. We are always your supporter. “We are with you, we are with you.” he said.

Selçuk University Faculty of Communication Dean Prof. Dr. Enderhan Karakoç also stated that he believes that the students will strengthen their future success with the awards and achievements they have achieved. Prof. Dr. Karakoç stated that applying is as important as receiving awards in prestigious competitions such as TRT Future Communicators Competition and Young Communicators Competition. Prof. Dr. Karakoç said, “You made our university and all of us proud. You also made your family proud. As students of the Faculty of Communication, you set an example and explained what success means. I congratulate you all from the bottom of my heart and wish you continued success.”

After the speeches, Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. İlhan Çiftci, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tuğrul Polat, General Secretary Prof. Dr. Kamil Beşoluk, Dean Prof. Dr. Enderhan Karakoç, Vice Deans Prof. Dr. Imran Aslan and Dr. Lecturer Member Özlem Özgür presented a certificate of appreciation to the students.
