Konya Meeting program was organized within the scope of the "School Brotherhood" project prepared by Anadolu School for students affected by the earthquake. The program was attended by Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy also attended.

Konya Governor Vahdettin Özkan, AK Party Konya Deputy Orhan Erdem, Deputy Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mustafa Uzbaş, Selçuklu Mayor Ahmet Pekyatırmacı, Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Anatolian School Prof. Dr. Sami Güçlü; earthquake-affected students from Hatay, Adıyaman, Osmaniye and Kahramanmaraş; teachers and students from Izmir, Ankara, Bolu, Kayseri and Konya, who supported students affected by the earthquake, attended the School Brotherhood Konya Meeting held at Mevlana Teacher's House, hosted by Selçuklu Municipality.

Anadolu School Chairman of the Board of Directors Prof. Dr. Sami Güçlü said, “The uneasiness that followed the earthquake disaster, our people's serious efforts to hit the roads, their efforts to deliver aid, and our state's struggle to normalize life by expending great energy in a short time, were reflected as a state of crisis management in Türkiye that would set an example to the world.”

Konya Governor Vahdettin Özkan said, “The fact that people all over Türkiye say 'What can I do?' and that non-governmental organizations take action spontaneously are our very valuable values.These are the products of our civilization, culture and history.It is very important to preserve these features and pass them on to future generations.”

Stating that Konya mobilized with all its administrators and people during the earthquake process, Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy said, “Our people selflessly helped the region. These are very valuable. The most important elements in environments where such natural disasters occur are unity and solidarity. In this process, we see that our people's sense of cooperation and solidarity comes to the fore. The existence of people with these values warmed our hearts. As Selçuk University, we first tried to reach our students after the earthquake. For this purpose, a hotline was established. By calling them, their needs were determined. Our doctors at our Faculty of Medicine went to the earthquake zone voluntarily. Our academics and students from our First and Emergency Aid, Civil Defense and Firefighting Departments, and Red Crescent and AFAD volunteers reached the region. As Selçuk University, we hosted earthquake victims in our dormitories and their needs were met.”

Following the protocol speeches at the School Fraternity Konya Meeting program, teachers and students who were affected by the earthquake, as well as volunteer students, talked about their experiences during and after the earthquake disaster.
