Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy visited Mustafa Büyükeğen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Safa Tarım. The projects that can be carried out through the Teknokent were evaluated, and it was pointed out that both Konya and Türkiye will achieve great gains through cooperation.

Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tuğrul Polat, Teknokent General Manager Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hamurcu, Deputy General Managers Cem Ünal and Ahmet Rıza Balım, Teknokent Project and Business Development Specialist Aykut Alçayır visited Safa Agriculture Chairman Mustafa Büyükeğen and Foreign Trade Manager Halil İbrahim Büyükeğen. Rector Prof. Dr. Aksoy said: "Selçuk University, which is an exemplary university with its research experience and infrastructure, is one of the top 3 universities with the best chemistry department. We rank third in food safety. We are in the top 10 in the automotive industry. The preparation of projects for university-industry cooperation in our country will prevent our resources from going abroad."

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hamurcu, General Manager of Teknokent, who made a presentation about the projects that can be carried out for Safa Tarım through Teknokent, stated that they have been serving as Selçuk University Konya Teknokent for 10 years. He said: ‘’during this period, we want to reveal our innovative structure more, increase our strength with new investments, and provide better quality services to the industry. Teknokent plays an important role in the development and transfer of technology in the region and in ensuring university-industry cooperation. We are an institution that constantly produces projects. As Teknokent, we worked on how we can provide an opportunity for Safa Agriculture to reach better places. We can offer support in areas such as fertilizer technologies, public health medicine, pheromone production and development, organizing toxicology studies, and cooperation in R&D studies.’’
