Students of Selçuk University left their mark on the Sustainable City Furniture Hackathon organized by Konya Metropolitan Municipality. The design named "Devinim" prepared by the students of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Industrial Design came first and the design named "Yerebatan" came third.

"Sustainable City Furniture Hackathon" was held for university students with the organization of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Youth Assembly. In the hackathon held at Konya Science Center between 18 - 20 March 2022, students transformed their original ideas they produced for the needs of the age and the city into designs. In the Sustainable City Furniture Hackathon, the design that solves the parking and management problem of micro mobility vehicles named "Devinim" prepared by Ozan Akar, Nisa Nur Kurtuluş and Emine Kesici, students of Selçuk University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Industrial Design, won the first place, and the modular underground rain harvesting system and compatible reinforcement design named "Yerebatan" by Hatice Esra Sungur, Kübra Taşkın and Abdurrahman Sel won the third place.
