Selçuk University received the "University Special Award" with the highest number of project applications among 60 universities in the 5th International Natural Stone Design Competition organized within the scope of Marble İzmir - 28th International Natural Stone and Technologies Fair.

Selçuk University Faculty of Architecture and Design, Department of Interior Architecture students and Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Industrial Design students applied for the "University Special Award" on behalf of Selçuk University. In the competition, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design Prof. Dr. Rabia Köse Doğan received the "University Special Award".

Dean Prof. Dr. Rabia Köse Doğan said in her statement: "I would like to thank our Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy, our professors and students who helped us win the University Special Award. We are proud on behalf of our University to receive the University Special Award with the highest number of project applications in the 5th International Different Natural Stone Design Competition, where 1,200 projects from approximately 60 universities applied."
