A cooperation protocol was signed between Selçuk University Cihanbeyli Vocational School and Cihanbeyli District Directorate of National Education. The protocol aims to increase education-based qualifications and provide vocational training in line with students' career goals.

Selçuk University Cihanbeyli Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. Süleyman Neşeli said that the protocol signed is of great importance in educating and training qualified human resources that can meet the intermediate staff needs of the public and private sectors and in ensuring quality and sustainability in the transition from secondary education to higher education. Stating that the purpose of the protocol is to increase the educational qualifications of teachers, students and young people in the district and to provide them with vocational training in line with their career goals, Prof. Dr. Neşeli said, “Within the scope of the protocol, educational opportunities for existing and proposed departments/programs will be evaluated and joint study commissions will be formed, and these departments/programs will be updated by evaluating the demands and needs of our district and region. "By analyzing employment opportunities and changing work and living conditions, sustainable education is aimed at training human resources that will meet more current and future needs in both institutions." said.

Cihanbeyli District Director of National Education Mehmet Sarıtaş said, “Thanks to this protocol, sustainability in education was aimed. As an institution, we are ready to provide all kinds of support in this regard. With the joint working groups to be established, our young people will be provided with better education, especially in the field of applied sciences. Thus, it will contribute to increasing the quality of trained manpower, especially the success of public and private sector enterprises.” he said.
