Selçuk University has organized 30 events in many fields from science to cinema, music to sports within the scope of 100 Events in the 100th Anniversary of the Republic. The events will continue until the end of the year.

Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Emrullah Eken and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tuğrul Polat, Secretary General Prof. Dr. Kamil Beşoluk and members of the commission attended the Evaluation Meeting of Selçuk University 100 Events Commission for the 100th Anniversary of Turkey.

Rector Prof. Dr. Aksoy said, "From the Faculty of Sports Sciences to the Faculty of Science, from the Faculty of Education to the Dilek Sabancı State Conservatory, our success in many fields is very valuable. It is more important than anything else to give labor and put your hand under the stone. I would like to thank you for your efforts and contributions. An important stage has been reached in order to reveal the capacity of our university. The work carried out at our university continues at a rapid pace and the energy and motivation of our academics is not lost."

Within the scope of the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the founding of our Republic by Selçuk University, 100th Year Language and Culture Festival (Celebrating a Century: Multi Culti Fest), Women's Cancer Awareness Training, "My Bicycle was Blue" play, Success Stories, Famous Kazakh music group Turan Concert, Anti-addiction Information Training, Faculty of Fine Arts Painting Department Dr. Assist. Prof. Dr. Hafize Pektaş's Personal Painting Exhibition, Narco Truck and Fight Against Addiction Conference, Hospital Practice and Health Services Compliance Training, 1st International Lake Tourism and Current Trends in Tourism Congress, New Frontiers of Natural Sciences: 2nd International Selçuk Meeting congress and "Breast Cancer Awareness" seminar were organized.

Faculties, institutes, vocational schools and colleges, coordinatorships are planning to organize 130 events in many fields from science to cinema, music to sports, health to technology until the end of the year.
