"Welcoming Fest" organized by Selçuk University (SU) Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator and Erasmus+ Student Community (ESN) for students from Lithuania and Romania was held with the participation of Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tuğrul Polat.

Erasmus+ Institution Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zerrin Savaşan said at the event held at Erasmus House that they organized a "Welcome Event" for the students within the scope of Erasmus internship mobility. Stating that they were involved in various programs for 3 days within this framework, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Savaşan said, "We gave project simulation training to our students for the first two days. This training was given by Abdullah Gül University (AGU) Youth Factory Director, Project Trainer Specialist Lecturer. Assoc. Bora Akince conducted this training. After two days of project training in the light of his training, what we now expect from our children is to turn these trainings into concrete project applications. In this context, we would like to thank the Selçuk University administration, AGU Youth Factory, ESN Youth Organization, Law Academy, Faculty of Fine Arts, Dilek Sabancı State Conservatory and lecturers for their support."

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Savaşan stated that similar activities will continue within the coordinatorship. Explaining that they will complete the summer semester with more than 20 students, Savaşan said, "This is of course this way under pandemic conditions. We hope that this number will increase in the future."

On the last day of the activities, the students attended a lecture given by Lecturer of Traditional Turkish Arts Department of Faculty of Fine Arts of SU. Assist. Naciye Detseli presented examples of marbling art. Afterwards, Prof. Dr. Oğuz Karakaya (kanun), Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Nuri Parmaksız (ney), Lecturer. Assist. Emre Küçükgök (oud), Assist. Assist. Gizem Şahin (kemençe), Assist. Assist. Burhan Keskiner (tambour) and Music Teacher Hakan Şahin (bendir) performed a Turkish Music concert, which was appreciated by the students.
