I believe that we will constantly make the name of our University well known with our success in both the judgeship and prosecution exams and in our professional life. I wish the new academic year to be auspicious for all of us."

"WE WILL NOT GIVE CHANCE TO ANY TERRORIST ORGANIZATION"

Stating that the Faculty of Law is the shining star of Selçuk University, Prof. Dr. Aksoy said, "We are determined to fight against those who have connections with organizations such as FETÖ. We will not give opportunity to any terrorist organization. We aim to increase the number of BAP resources, community contribution projects and projects in social sciences. Analysis is needed in social sciences all over the world. In societies like Turkey, which are in a bridge position, social sciences are much more important in order to understand the society and to have more qualified studies for the society. In order to sustain academic success, a quality education is required. We have taken steps to enable our academics to improve themselves and prepare international projects. We are focusing on units that will ensure the coordination of the research to be conducted. We aim to make our units in this field more active. Thus, new opportunities will be offered to our academicians and students."

"STEPS HAVE BEEN TAKEN TO MOVE SELÇUK UNIVERSITY TO THE TOP RANKS"

Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy emphasized that steps are being taken to bring Selçuk University to the top in scientific studies. "We want our institutions and academicians to operate at international standards. Selçuk University was built on a Seljuk heritage that was at the center of the Turkish-Islamic ideal and acted in line with this ideal. We are in a city where the Seljuk and Ottoman madrasah tradition is kept alive. We are raising generations by preserving Anatolian values such as Hz. Mevlana. We aim to be a university of Turkey that continues its existence with the blending of Turkish and Islamic identity. We do not want a society that expresses itself completely with the West. Because that society becomes alienated from the body it is in. This is not our ideal. We want the university of a Turkish child to contribute to raising generations at international standards. We expect our academics not to get involved in local, vicious debates. In cooperation with our municipalities in Konya, we strive to make the physical spaces more modern.  We have become a debt-free university by using public resources efficiently and preventing waste. We aim to provide Selçuk University with a new library that will increase its scientific achievements."
