Selçuk University (SU) Faculty of Islamic Sciences 2020-2021 academic year graduation ceremony was held. At the ceremony where the first graduates were given and plaques were presented to the ranking students, 160 students received their diplomas.

At the ceremony held in front of Keykubad Mansion, Selçuk University (SU) Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. İlhan Çiftci said that he believes that the achievements of the graduates at Selçuk University will have an impact on the future of the Islamic Ummah and humanity. Prof. Dr. Çiftci gave advice to the young people and said, "You are people who are obliged to tell the truth and the justice to the society. However, you are also obliged to take the medicines that can solve people's psychological and sociological problems and heal them from the 'Qur'an Pharmacy' and distribute them to the needy. You have to be successful not for yourself and your family, but for your country and humanity. Therefore, your duty is very important. Remember; every end is a new beginning. Now it is time to serve the society and raise new generations like 'Asim's generation'. My advice to you is to do things that will benefit your family, society, our country, the Ummah and even humanity, or be instrumental in doing such things. Constantly improve yourself. The sea of knowledge has no end. In fact, as the ummah of a Prophet who said 'Collect knowledge from the cradle to the grave', we are all students until our last breath. You should act with this awareness and never waste your time. May God bless you with good fortune and a clear path. I wish you all success in this challenging life path and struggle."

                                                 “OUR DUTY IS TO SPREAD GOODNESS”

Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Prof. Dr. Ramazan Altıntaş also stated that Selçuk University has a deep-rooted history and has produced thousands of graduates to date. Stating that SU Faculty of Islamic Sciences is rapidly developing as a young faculty with a bright future, Altıntaş said, "We are experiencing both the sadness and justified pride and joy of seeing you off as the first graduates of our faculty. Graduation ceremonies are like the harvest season. There is effort and sweat here. Everyone who shares Islamic Sciences identity is a person who should be taken as an example in every aspect. Our turban is white, it does not stain. You should be model people that society seeks and tries to emulate, from sitting to standing, dressing, eating and drinking, to all your human relations. Our duty is to spread goodness and to stop evil."

At the ceremony where the Holy Quran recitation and a religious music concert were held, plaques were given to the students who ranked highest. General Secretary Prof. Dr. The ceremony, attended by Kamil Beşoluk, faculty members and families, ended with the diploma presentation.
