Selçuk University introduced its projects at Konya Energy Summit and Fair
Selcuk University (SU) Alternative Energy Resources Community participated in the Konya Energy Summit and Fair organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources with the support of SU Rectorate and Faculty of Technology. Innovative projects such as electro mobiles, hydro mobiles, green and smart campuses and turbines made from waste were introduced at the stand opened by the student community within the scope of the Summit and Fair.
Konya Energy Summit and Fair was held at Selçuklu Congress Center between March 3-5, 2022 with the theme "Konya's energy enlightens Turkey".
Within the framework of the Summit and Fair, scientists working in the field of energy, senior representatives of public, private and non-governmental organizations and many companies operating in Konya and Turkey in the field of energy participated. Within the scope of the Summit and Fair, energy efficiency policies, energy management in industry, regional solar and wind energy investments and the future of these investments, clean energy technologies, new era in unlicensed energy production, new regulations in energy law were among the prominent topics.
SU Alternative Energy Resources Community also hosted many visitors, especially business people, faculty members and students, with the stand it opened at the Konya Energy Summit and Fair. Innovative projects such as electro mobiles, hydro mobiles, green and smart campuses and turbines made from waste were introduced to the visitors.
Selçuk University Faculty of Technology Vice Dean and Academic Advisor of Alternative Energy Resources Community Assoc. Prof. Dr. A. Engin Özçelik said that Konya Energy Summit and Fair brought together national and international companies, public and private sector representatives, scientists, educational institutions and many organizations. Stating that he believes that the meeting will provide important contributions and opportunities to Konya and Turkey, Özçelik said, "Such fairs are important in terms of university-industry cooperation, our academicians contribute to the accumulation of knowledge with their studies in the field of energy and contribute to the capacity of trained manpower by meeting with the sector before our students graduate. On behalf of my students and the University, we would like to thank our Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy and Dean of the Faculty of Technology Prof. Dr. Şakir Taşdemir for their support in our participation in Konya Energy Summit and Fair."
