Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy stated that with the "Cooperation Protocol for Improving the Physical Environments of Imam Hatip Schools, Using Renewable Energy Resources and Increasing the Quality of Education" signed with Selçuklu Municipality and Selçuklu Directorate of National Education in April, it is aimed to reduce the opportunity differences between schools, ensure equality of opportunity in education, encourage the improvement of the physical environments of educational institutions and increase the quality of education. "INSTITUTIONS DISTANT FROM SOCIETY BECOME A BURDEN ON SOCIETY"
Prof. Dr. Aksoy stated that as Selçuk University, they care about taking part in projects and studies related to all segments of the society as well as the studies carried out for students and contributing to them within the scope of the opportunities. Because we believe that all stages of education are complementary to each other. That is why it is of great importance for the future of our country to establish an environment of cooperation between institutions for all the education that our young people, the guarantee of our future, will receive from primary school to university and to carry out the process carefully. As Selçuk University, I would like to sincerely express that we have made our best efforts to serve the society and we will continue to do so. Educational institutions maintain their existence as long as they serve the society. Institutions away from society become a burden to society. I hope that this process, which I think will be very useful for the design of educational venues, which is of great importance for quality education, will be beneficial. I would like to thank everyone who contributed.” he said.
