Selçuk University Patent Board Meeting was held

The Patent Board Meeting at Selçuk University (SU) was held with the participation of Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy.

Selçuk University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. İlhan Çiftci, Konya Teknokent General Manager Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hamurcu and members of the board attended the meeting held in the Rectorate meeting hall.

In his speech at the opening of the meeting, Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy said that they attach importance to patent studies as a university and that a patent can be equivalent to many publications. In this sense, Prof. Dr. Aksoy stated that they attach great importance to patents in order for Selçuk University to be promoted to the status of 'YÖK Research University' in the list of YÖK Research and Candidate Research Universities and said, "As a university, we provide resources for scientific studies. We have improved our BAP regulation with the contributions of our faculty members. We have a good budget. We are increasing our support and incentives in these areas. Konya Teknokent also contributes to the work of our academic staff. I wish our meeting to be beneficial."

Following the opening speech, faculty members of SU Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Hasibe Artaç, Prof. Dr. Hüsamettin Vatansev, Prof. Dr. Selim Safalı; faculty member of SU Faculty of Dentistry Prof. Dr. Serhan Akman; and  Research Assist. Dr. Ali Samet Babaoğlu from SU Faculty of Agriculture made a patent presentation. The meeting ended after the presentation evaluations.
