Selçuk University (SU) Institute of Health Sciences Spring Term Academic Board Meeting was held with the participation of Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy.

Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy stated that Selçuk University is a valuable educational institution and said, "Selçuk University has an identity and mission. This University is the embodiment of the Seljuk madrasahs in Konya, which was the seat of the Seljuks. Many universities were separated from Selçuk University and established in Konya and its region. Afterwards, they reached certain faculties and levels. The efforts and studies of these universities make us happy. Selçuk University is the patron university. The real root is here. We are in the endeavor of greening this root and turning it into a mighty tree again. In the words of Erol Güngör, this can only be done through 'science and scholarship'. The rise of the Turkish nation and the Islamic cause will only reappear with the value this nation attaches to science and science."

"WE STRIVE FOR A RISING UNIVERSITY WITH DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION"

Prof. Dr. Aksoy said that the Institute of Health Sciences has become one of the important units of the university. Stating that the world values digitalization, Prof. Dr. Aksoy said, "We strive to ensure digital transformation and to bring this transformation to a certain stage. For this reason, we aim to be able to log in to automations through a single password, to modernize automations and to change the University web page by being included in the system in February. If you consider that there are 27 different automations in our university, this means 27 different passwords. Together with their sub-automations, they exceed 40-50. All these are methods and systems that are not used in the modern age. If we catch the transformation of these, Selçuk University, with its deep-rooted history, will become a university that rises very strongly into the future; it will progress in a very strong way. The contribution of these will be possible with our academicians putting their hands under the stone."

Prof. Dr. Fatma Hümeyra Yerlikaya Aydemir, Director of the Institute of Health Sciences, explained that they continue to work with the goal of Orpheus label and made a presentation on different subjects, especially the number of students and the arrangements made within the institute in the last year.
