Selcuk University (SU) Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Equestrian Club Athlete Kemal Şeveşeli came 4th in the 80 and 85 cm categories and 2nd in the 95 cm category in the Türkiye Jumping Races organized by the Turkish Equestrian Federation in Ankara Equestrian Sports Club. Şeveşeli's goal is to take Selçuk University to the top categories in equestrian sports.

Selcuk University Equestrian Club Athlete Kemal Seveşeli participated in the Turkish Jumping Races organized by the Turkish Equestrian Federation at Ankara Equestrian Sports Club on June 19-20. Seveşeli completed the competitions without any mistakes and ranked 4th in the 80 and 85 cm category and 2nd in the 95 cm category. Equestrian Club Trainer Mustafa Kucur also finished 2nd in the 105 cm category.

Stating that they were very happy to complete the competitions held on Saturday and Sunday without any mistakes, Kemal Şeveşeli said, "Our goal is to carry Selçuk University to better places in equestrian sports. I want to become more professional in the field of equestrianism. We are trying to rise in the categories by strengthening our technical knowledge and equipment. First of all, we aim to be able to see 1 meter and above. We will work hard for this. I have been riding for 8 years and I received my training at Selçuk University. Having such a facility in Konya is a great advantage. Families can come with their children. We relieve the stress of work intensity. When we touch the horse, the tiredness and negative energy of the day disappears. I would like to thank Selçuk University and our Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy for providing us with this opportunity."

Selçuk University (SU) Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Equestrian Club Coach Mustafa Kucur said, "I started riding here in 1998 at the age of 14. I spent my childhood here. I helped to care and train the horses. This sport is learned through master-apprentice relationship. I received the coaching certificate in 2003. In 2018, I attended the second level coaching course and gained the authority to issue a license. I continue as both a rider and a coach. Students can also come to the Equestrian Club within Selçuk University."
