The Aviation, Space and Technology Festival "TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan", which will be held in Baku on May 26-29, has started. Selçuk University stand was one of the focal points of the festival where 5 thousand competitors, including a thousand teams, applied and more than 250 of them made it to the finals. The guests were informed about the University and Konya.

Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank, Azerbaijan's Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rşat Nebiyev, Presidential Defense Industry President İsmail Demir, TEKNOFEST Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar, Selçuk Bayraktar, Secretary General of Selçuk University Prof. Dr. Kamil Beşoluk, senior executives of many institutions and companies from Turkey and Azerbaijan, students and citizens attended the opening ceremony of the festival held at Crystal Hall and Seaside Boulevard National Park in the capital Baku.

Within the scope of the festival, Baku Skills, Environmental Technologies, Technology for the Benefit of Humanity, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Gliders, Agricultural Technologies, CanSet, Robotics, Smart Karabağ Hackathon, Rocket League European Championship competitions will be organized in high school, undergraduate and graduate categories. Take Off Baku attracted participation from 32 countries, including Turkey, Germany, the United States, Ireland, Pakistan, Egypt, Argentina, Azerbaijan and European countries. The winning teams will receive their awards from Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Selçuk University, one of the stakeholders of Teknofest, also took its place in Azerbaijan. At the stand, which attracted great attention of the guests, information about the opportunities offered to students, technological infrastructure, accommodation opportunities and Konya was shared.
