The world's largest aviation, space and technology festival TEKNOFEST, which has broken visitor records since its establishment, is hosted by Istanbul this year. Selçuk University, which offers its students a bright future with its technical infrastructure and scientific projects, is competing with 50 teams in TEKNOFEST finals.

Organized by the Technology Team Foundation and the Ministry of Industry and Technology with the support of Turkey's leading technology companies, public, media organizations and universities, TEKNOFEST, which aims to transform Turkey into a technology-producing society, is hosted by Istanbul this year. Selçuk University, which aims to be a university that produces rather than consumes, is competing with 50 teams in the final of TEKNOFEST, of which it is a stakeholder.

Stating that Selçuk University is proud to be a stakeholder of TEKNOFEST, Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy said, "TEKNOFEST, which aims to raise awareness about technology and science and increase Turkey's human resources trained in science and engineering, opens new horizons for both our academics and students. Selçuk University will support all kinds of scientific studies that expand the imagination of our academicians and young people, as it has done so far."

Stating that Selçuk University has managed to be among the top 10 universities by making 484 applications to the Technology Competitions in 4 years, Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy said, "This year, our University, which has applied with 145 teams and 465 participants, is represented by 50 teams in TEKNOFEST finals. We aim to increase these numbers even more in the coming years. Because we believe that our young people, who enable us to look to the future with hope, will achieve important things in the development of our country and in ensuring a more prosperous future when given the opportunity. Our priority is to support our young people who will take an active role in the construction of a stronger Turkey and to enable the development of domestic and national projects.
