The graduation ceremony of Selcuk University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of International Relations was held at Sultan Alparslan Cultural Center. To the ceremony; Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Emrullah Eken and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tuğrul Polat, Secretary General Prof. Dr. Kamil Beşoluk, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Mehmet Gökus, Dean of Beyşehir Ali Akkanat Faculty of Business, Prof. Dr. Fatih Mangır, Dean of Akşehir Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Mehmet Mucuk, Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Mustafa Doğan, academicians, students and parents attended.

Addressing the students in his speech, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Mehmet Göküş, “You should not forget that university life is not limited to education only, and that the vision and values ​​you gain in your environment are also a separate part of this education.” he said. Head of International Relations Department Prof. Dr. Şaban Çalış said, “We took care of our students as if they were our own children, and we continue to do so. I believe our students will succeed. I believe they will make themselves, their families, universities and this country proud.”

Selcuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy, on the other hand, said, “International Relations is the department where I served for 15 years, spent overtime, was the head of the department, and started as an assistant professor. In this sense, it is especially valuable to me. It was the part that made us who we are. It was an occasion to serve our country, this country. On every platform, we have tried to defend the values ​​and cultures of our country and to always serve this country on the occasion of this episode. We have trained our students with this mission. Konya; It was the capital of the ancient Seljuks, the center of tolerance, civilization, science and wisdom. As Selcuk University, we try to continue this. We are striving for the values ​​that make the Seljuks Seljuk, Turkish-Islamic ideals, culture and Turkish identity to be better. Wherever they go, our students should not forget that the most important thing is to serve this country and this land.”

After the speeches, Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy presented his plaque to Burak Uzun, the 33rd term winner of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of International Relations at Selcuk University. The awarding students were presented with their plaques, their diplomas were awarded and the cap throwing ceremony ended.
