"Turkish Music Concert" organized by Selçuk University (SU) Dilek Sabancı State Conservatory and Ardahan University (ARU) Faculty of Fine Arts faculty members within the scope of YÖK Anatolia Project was highly appreciated by music lovers.

Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Emrullah Eken, Prof. Dr. İlhan Çiftci and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tuğrul Polat, Secretary General Prof. Dr. Kamil Beşoluk, Dean of ARU Faculty of Fine Arts Prof. Dr. Bülent Kurtişoğlu, academic and administrative staff and students attended the concert held at the Sultan Alparslan Cultural Center.

In the first parts of the concert, instrumental works, Aegean regional works and Neşet Ertaş's "Don't See Me Like Eller" were performed. Afterwards, Kars folk song "Bu Dağlar Kömürdendir" and long air "Tutam Yâr Elinden" were performed. Azeri folk song "Aman Avcı Don't Shoot Me", "Bakmıyor Çeşm-i Siyah Feryade" and "Nihavend Longa" composed by Hacı Arif Bey were presented. In the last part of the concert, Istanbul folk songs titled "The Setting Day Looks Like Blood, Istanbul to Uskudar, Come This Evening at Sunset, Remove the Black Clouds" were performed.

In his speech, Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy stated that the concert was one of the outputs of the YÖK Anatolia Project and thanked the faculty members of SU Dilek Sabancı State Conservatory and ARU Faculty of Fine Arts who contributed to the organization of the program.

The concert ended with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the lecturers.
