Arda Tohumoğlu, a student of Selçuk University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Industrial Design, received the first prize with his "Life Capsule" project in the "Smart and Sustainable City Solutions Ideathon" organized by Konya Metropolitan Municipality.

At the event held at the Konya Metropolitan Municipality Capsule Technology Platform Zindankale Campus, participants from Konya and outside the city participated 24 hours a day on important topics such as "Smart Transportation and Mobility", "Climate Change", "Zero Waste", "Green Energy", "Disaster and Emergency" competed to develop innovative solutions to city problems.

Aiming to provide solutions to critical issues that will affect the future of the society, the competitors presented their projects to the jury consisting of experts from the relevant units of Konya Metropolitan Municipality. In the evaluation and conclusion part of the marathon, important projects that attracted attention with the solutions they brought to environmental and local problems were rewarded.

At Ideathon, Arda Tohumoğlu, student of Selçuk University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Industrial Design, was deemed worthy of first place with his "Life Capsule" project in the "Disaster and Emergency Management" category.
