Selçuk University Yunak Vocational School organized "Book Reading Activity", "Akşehir Western Front Headquarters Documentary (Ahmet Yeşiltepe) Screening" and "Opening of the Corner of Loyalty to the Martyrs of Yunak on the Road to Independence" within the scope of 100 Events in the 100th Year of our Republic.

Yunak District Governor Özgür Pelvan, School Director Assist. Prof. Dr. Kadir Öztaş, academicians and students attended the program. In the program, the works of researcher writer Mehmet Koç's "Atatürk in Akşehir", "Dokuzayongün" and writer Bülent Keskin's "Kumrular Ağlar İçimde" published by Akşehir Municipality Cultural Publications were read and presented to the guests.

"Akşehir Western Front Headquarters Documentary (Ahmet Yeşiltepe) Screening" was also organized at Yunak Vocational School. In the documentary, the preparations for the Great Offensive, what was done in that process, what kind of difficulties were encountered are explained.

Within the scope of 100 Events in the 100th Anniversary of our Republic, "Opening of the Corner of Loyalty to the Martyrs of Yunaklı on the Road to Independence" was also held. The panel, which was prepared to keep alive the memories of the Yunaklı martyrs who were martyred in the War of Independence and includes information about the names of the martyrs and the places where they were martyred, was placed at the entrance of the school.
