Speaking at the program held at Sarıcalar Application and Research Farm, Selçuk University Faculty of Agriculture Dean Prof. Dr. Zeki Bayramoğlu said, "Plant nutrition and agricultural control applications can be done with drone technology. We will carry out the trial of spraying application with drone with Royaltech company, which provides us with technical support and our professors of the Department of Plant Protection of our Faculty who provide information support. Sarıcalar Farm, which has an area of one thousand 338 decares, has wheat on one thousand 50 decares, silage corn on 60 decares, sunflower on 80 decares and alfalfa on 80 decares. We show how practices such as plant care, feeding and agricultural control are carried out with drone technology. The use of technology in agriculture makes us happy as it increases productivity in production and reduces costs.

"AGRICULTURAL STRUGGLE SHOULD BE DONE EFFECTIVELY''

Mustafa Bulut, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Royaltech Tarım İnavasyon Limited Şirketi, said, “We are working to meet the needs of farmers with drone technology. We are testing corn, sunflower, beet, wheat and barley in many areas. The results are quite nice. We believe that we will serve our farmers in many areas in the future.” he said.

Head of the Plant Protection Department of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Nuh Boyraz also said, “If you cannot make a good agricultural struggle, no matter how well you use the elements that increase productivity, the desired result cannot be achieved. The important thing here is to choose the right medicine, choose the right tools and equipment, and ensure that the medicine is expelled at the right time. If the applied medicine is to be effective, it is necessary to pay attention to the selected tool. The purpose of using this technology is; to carry out effective pesticide application, to carry out more effective pesticide application in less time and with less expense.” he said.

After the speeches, pesticide spraying was carried out with a drone belonging to the Royaltech company.
