The name of the July 15 martyr was given to the reading hall at Selçuk University

The reading hall within Selçuk University (SU) Vocational School of Social Sciences was named after Muhsin Kiremitçi, who was martyred in the bomb attack on the Special Operations Department in Gölbaşı during the coup attempt of the Fetullah Gülen Terrorist Organization (FETO). Hüseyin Kiremitçi, the father of the martyr, who attended the ceremony, said: "The feeling of homeland is the same as the feeling of religion."

Selçuk University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Emrullah Eken, in his speech at the ceremony held in front of the Vocational School of Social Sciences, stated that what happened on July 15 was an invasion attempt rather than a coup attempt and said, "They bombed the Turkish Grand National Assembly with planes and bombs purchased with the money given by the nation. They bombed our Special Operations. They fired on our citizens. There is no such example in the world. We went through such a crisis, it's no joke. Evaluate those who try to support them this way. They still have supporters around the world. There are those who try to be with them. If we can speak here today, it is thanks to people like our brother Muhsin. We are here thanks to those who came out that day, July 15. May God make our martyrs neighbors of our Prophet.” he said.

Prof. Dr. Eken, who said "Never think that an idea is 100% true,"  advised young people to think freely, read books, and be questioners and researchers.

''I wouldn't wish this pain from the God for anybody''

Hüseyin Kiremitçi, the father of the martyr, stated that the bullets and bombs purchased for the fight against the PKK were used brutally by traitors against the children of the country and said, “As a religious official for 34 years, I performed my mother's funeral prayer myself. I washed my father's body and performed the funeral prayer. My Lord blessed me with my child, but I never had any problems with my mother or father. While I was washing my beloved son, I washed and cried with his brothers and sisters. I said to my wife, 'May God not grant this pain to anyone.' May God not let anyone experience those feelings. Youth! You will protect this country, our homeland, and Islam. We came, we are passing. We will definitely own this country. "Just like the feeling of religion, the feeling of homeland is of the same language."

Social Sciences Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. Ali Alagöz stated that Muhsin Kiremitçi was martyred to protect his flag, state and nation and said, “We do not want this to be forgotten. We do not want every member of our nation, especially our youth, to forget these traitors. We will not forget this. "In order not to forget this and to prevent this nation from encountering such a betrayal again, we deemed it appropriate to name the hall we created in our school as 'Martyr Muhsin Kiremitçi Reading Hall'."

The opening ceremony of the reading room, which was opened with prayers, was attended by Recep Pekdemir, President of Konya Martyr Families Association, faculty members, students and families who were at the Vocational School for the graduation ceremony.
